We also check and top up all fluid levels, check all lights, and will provide you with a written safety checkup. We only use Factory spec oil in all TD5 services.

Discovery, Range Rover Vogue/Sport Automatic Gearbox Oil Change

Whilst Land Rover state that the gearbox is sealed for life, we have found that in many cases that vehicles with over 100,000 miles/160,000kms  are suffering from oil breakdown in the gearbox, which causes all manners of gearshift and driveabilty issues. We can now do a complete oil transfusion in the gearbox, as opposed to an oil change, on all Land Rover automatic gearboxes. A simple oil change does not remove all of the old oil in the valve chest, solenoid blocks and torque converter, and can sometimes not cure gearbox issues. Prices from €300.

TD5 Engine Re-mapping.

We can now arrange to have your TD5 remapped, which makes a large difference to power, torque and fuel economy. We have found that, in our own experience with ‘generic’ TD5 maps, it can leave them very underpowered in low RPM ranges, and with all the power in the high rpm ranges. This can cause massive heat issues, and warp exhaust manifolds, as we saw on one vehicle four times before the map was changed. Prices from €350.
